Today was an autumn day. It was 65. It was sunny. The leaves were burnt orange and yellow and red and struggling to hold on as their neighbors floated to the sand of the Place des Vosges.
It was an autumn day because fall doesn’t quite do it justice. Fall is season; Autumn is a quality that encompasses a day. It’s a je ne sais quoi that is felt more than described, experienced more then viewed, and tasted more than consumed.
No matter how you view today, it was one for the books and a great foray into my week in Paris…
