Falling down the rabbit hole can take you to many different places; most leading nowhere in particular.  But this past Saturday, we serendipitously were tipped off to Retro Stefson playing at Faktory in Reykjavik, Iceland. Having been there a few nights earlier for a pretty amazing DJ set, we happily dropped 1,500 Kr to check it out.

Thus the start of the rabbit hole.  After killing a 2 hour set to a packed house, I promptly stumbled through the interwebs in search of more info on the band.  It didn’t take long. Turns out they’re pretty well established for being in their early 20’s.

For what its worth, I recommend checking them out.  A little alt rock meets indie/afro pop done mostly in Icelandic, it should do the trick of getting you on your feet.  At least it did for us.
